Mass Planner Recommended Windows VPS For Your Marketing Tools
On 18.05.2015, by Johnny
I know that many of you would like to use a VPS for your marketing tools so they are 24/7 online and working to do your bidding. We also have users that are on Max OS X and would like an alternative to using a virtual machine on their Mac and having to keep their computer open all day long.
We get asked a lot what VPS we recommend and until now we simply responded something like “any windows vps should be fine” however, we decided to dig a little deeper into this and do the research for you. We wanted to achieve several things with this:
- not waste your time as it would take a lot of searching if you’re not familiar with this
- get the best possible VPS at the best price
- get a VPS that works really good with Mass Planner
We’ve also split this into two categories:
- casual users – that only use Mass Planner with a couple of accounts and don’t need a lot of processing power
- power users that need a good VPS at a good price to run hundreds of accounts.
For the first category – casual users, we already wrote an in-depth tutorial on how to get a free VPS from Amazon for 1 year. So if you don’t use Mass Planner with a lot of accounts and a lot of tools, you can just move it to this VPS provided by Amazon, specifications are not very high but it will work, and the best thing it’s free.
Here are the specifications for the free VPS from Amazon:
- 1Gb of RAM
- 30Gb Hdd ( you’ll have around 11Gb free after the OS is installed)
- 1 virtual processor at 2.49Ghz
- OS: Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard.
- 1GB monthly free traffic ( if you go over they will charge you $0.12 per 1Gb which is almost free as well )
Now let’s jump to the cool part. A VPS that any serious marketer can use 24/7 and load with his/her tools of the trade that will run and work to further his/her business. That sounds good right? Well its not that easy, there are a lot of VPS providers out there and even though most of them have pretty much the same specifications some will work better than others, some will be a lot more expensive than others. The idea here is to find the perfect balance between a good price and a great service.
In order to find the best service for our users we gathered a list of 10 Windows VPS providers with various prices and got a VPS with the same core specifications from each of them. We then installed Mass Planner on each of them, loaded it with 50 accounts and let it run for a few days logging in several times per day to see how everything is going, internet speed, errors (which sometimes happen due to bad internet connections), processor load and overall performance.
Won’t bore you with a couple of thousand words long article on how we tested everything and the results, what I can say it took a while and we tested and re-tested everything, and finally decided on a Windows VPS provider that had decent prices and the best quality servers. Here’s what speedtest has to say about it ( this was taken with Mass Planner already running with 15 accounts) :
Depending on how many accounts you want to run you can choose to get a VPS from 4Gb to 8Gb or RAM. We know that not everybody needs to run hundreds of accounts with Mass Planner so for that reason we wanted to find someone that had different packages for everybody.
This is pretty much it, we’ve done all the hard work for you and we are confident we picked the best Windows VPS provider. You can use it for both Mass Planner and any other tools you have. You can now have your permanent online presence at a very affordable rate and with top notch performance!
Enjoy using Mass Planner like it was designed to work – fast and without any problems and see your business flourish.
